Parse out name:job in email templates

Customers are currently named in the Invoiced system as "Company name;Job/Submitter name". We would like to have an option in the email templates to write to the customer only by 'company name' and not include the 'job/submitter name'. Is there a method to accomplish this in the email template/format?
The invoice metadata has the customer name as "Company name;Submitter name" and the name we don't want to include is under the invoice metadata as "Submitter name"

Job names are no longer included in the customer name and are available in the `quickbooks_job` metadata.
