Custom User Permissions
Ability to set user permissions on a more detailed level. Current permission levels are Read-Only, A/R Specialist, Employee, and Administrator. When you switch from Read-Only to A/R Specialist, a large number of permissions open up automatically, but there is no way to restrict anything on this list. Either you have it or you don't.
It would be great to take that list of all possible permissions and select specific ones for specific users. Like if I wanted to give a customer service rep the ability to send invoices but not create them, etc.

Jared King AdminThank you for the feedback. The good news is that we already support this! If you have the Enterprise edition you can create your own roles with more granular permissions. Here is some documentation on the topic: https://www.invoiced.com/resources/docs/guides/user-permissions#custom-roles

BranMost apps have permission levels for users as a standard, no matter the pricing tier. For small business owners on the lower tier, this feature is still very much needed and has been key in my consideration to switching companies. I do not want my employees having access to financial reports about my business, this is not appropriate. Admins should be able to block this feature from users while still allowing them to have access to other features. It's either too restrictive or not enough.

Debra WolseyWith the new change giving access to make customers inactive, roles need to be updated to allow administrators the ability to set if a particular role should be able to make customers inactive or not.

Jared King AdminDebra, thank you for the feedback. In order to change the active status of a customer a user must have the "Edit Customer" permission on their role AND have access to that particular customer.
