Updating Exp Date for Credit Cards
Currently, it is not possible to change the expiration date ONLY, for credit cards. Many cards have the same #, but the exp. date changes. Having the option to just update the exp date, without having to input the entire credit card #, would be extremely helpful.

Jared King AdminUnfortunately this feature request is not possible due to technical reasons. The way that credit card information is tokenized requires that the full card data is provided to perform any updates. For this reason we are unable to update a portion of the credit card information, such as expiration date.
In addition, it's not possible to update the CVC/CVV only because the code is not stored alongside the card as is called for by the PCI standard. The CVV/CVC is only used for the initial authorization when the card is saved and is not used on subsequent transactions. Therefore updating this code for a stored card would have no effect.
Some payment gateways do have a feature called Account Updater which will automatically update the information for stored cards in case a new card is issued (including new card number or expiration date). We would recommend reaching out to your payment processor to see if this option is available.
Thank you for the feedback!
