Payment plan for account balance

It should be possible to have payment plans span multiple invoices to cover an account balance.

Payment plans on the account level would be awesome. If someone has 15 invoices totaling $1500 that are 30 days past due, an option to make payments on the whole $1500 would be great like 4 payments of $375/ea that would auto apply to the oldest invoice balance forward would be golden

This would help a lot as we send out multiple invoices per customer.

I know that the documentation shows being able to use consolidated invoicing for this, but it's only available in the sandbox, and not in the live platform. I wish they would at least allow us to utilize this feature until the make account balance plans available.
