Create email trigger for credit cards expiring soon

It would be great to have the option to automatically email autopay customers if their payment method will soon expire.

The issue that I run into is having customer credit cards expire, which results in missed payments; trying to get in touch with them to respond and update their payment - a notification to notify me (let's say 30 days) prior to the card expiration date would be a great help

100% Agreed this is needed. Currently users are using the Expiring Cards report to identify these customers and call them one by one, Automation would greatly reduce manual work and free up much needed internal resources. In addition it can reduce past due invoices keeping our DSO within acceptable thresholds.

Yes, please! Other invoicing systems I've used in the past (even very inexpensive ones, i.e. Freshbooks) can notify when credit cards about about to expire.
